Khao-Khad Views Tower is another popular view point among tourists. They always make a visit to capture the impressive scenery at this tower. From this tower, tourists can enjoy the 360-degree view such as Chalong bay, Panwa cape, Sire island, Bon island, tiny and large islands around Phuket including Phuket city. This tower was built according to Vichit district office project. It is believed that seeing at the peak of this tower will give one the chance to savor the air lingered around. In the past, the path to Khao-Khad cape was very steep. Therefore walking up and down was extremely dangerous. Another feature which added up the exhausted task was light-brown stone. This kind of rough stone was a major cause of slipping. Luckily, nowadays the path is improved into asphalt pathway in order to provide convenience and safety. The road is expanded and footpath is marked for those who like to exercise by walking. 

For those who travel to Khao-Khad cape by car, there is a convenient spacious parking lot provided. At the cape hill, there are souvenirs stalls and clean restrooms for service. Khao-Khad cape is located at Makham bay and Panwa cape. It is another viewpoint of Phuket province.

Chino-Portugal Architecture Building Phuket

Phuket is one of the oldestcities with a long history in Thailand. This old town used to be the important port of the west of Malay Peninsula where Chinese people from oversea came for settling business and where cassiterite can be found. Phuket used to be ruled by the western both Portugal and Holland. This is why Phuket becomes major growing community and becomes the meeting location for those two major cultures from two different countries.

The old buildings situated in Phuket town certainly represent the prosperity of the culture. These old buildings have been constructed more than hundred years since the mining business was popular. The architectural style is European mixed with Chinese modern called “Sino-Portuguese” style; it is often a medium single or two-storied building with more area inside than the wideness. From the tiles, doors, perforated windows to other details, they are all influenced by Chinese and European style mixed together. You can visit these buildings at Thalang road, Deebook road, PhangNga road, Yaowarat road and Krabi road.

These buildings are not only the symbol of Phuket town, but are also part of local people’s daily lives until the present. They function as a city hall, provincial court, Siam City Bank, office places and other residences; they are well taken care of by the new generation. Also, nowadays Phuket city municipal has provided old part of city’s walking route for tourists in order to appreciate these buildings and the daily life of people in Phuket. The distance for sightseeing the old part of Phuket is approximately 4.6 kilometers with short 6 routes. King Taksin The Great Memorial Bangkok

The equestrian statue situated at Wongwian Yai Circle on Prachathipok Road was built to commemorate King Taksin, the former king of Siam who, together with King Rama I of Chakri Dynasty, liberated Siam from the ancient Burmese Kingdom and founded the new capital city, Thonburi, on the left bank of Chao Phraya River. The king is portrayed with his right hand holding a sword, measuring approximately 9 metres in height from his horse's feet to the spire of his hat. There’s a homage-paying fair taking place annually on 28 December.

King Rama lll Memorial Bangkok

The monument to commemorate the King Rama III of the current Chakri Dynasty sets by the historic Ratchadamnoen Klang Road, in front of Wat Ratchanatdaram, the temple of his reign. King Rama III or King Nangklao was known as the great ruling king as well as great businessman who conducted profitable trades with international markets, especially China. The bronze statue is surrounded by beautiful gardens, the Royal Reception Pavilion and three minor pavilions.

King Prajadhipok Museum Bangkok

King Prajadhipok Museum is situated in the area of the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning Building at the Parn Fah Leelad Bridge. It was built during 1906 with the architecture style in the era of King Rama 6th and King Rama 7th. In King Rama 7th’s era, The King restored this museum as a museum to keep His personal properties and all the important photos and documents. This museum is considered as the most completed museum that uses the new technology to describe all the displays.

The museum consists of 3 levels. Each level has its own story to portray about the King and the Queen. At the first level, is where the story of the Queen is portrayed from Her biography to Her royal duties and also Her Majesty’s private properties. At the second level displays the biography of the King from His youth,  His coronation and His death. Moreover, there are also the stories of the King’s hobbies such as music, sport, movie. At the third level are the King’s private properties such as His clothes and His royal duties. 

For those who want to travel here can bring their own cars or take the bus. The bus that passes here is bus no. 2,15, 25, 44, 47, 59, 60, 39, 44, 59, 79, 511, 512. Moreover, to avoid the traffic, visitors can also travel by boat from Klong Saen Saeb. This museum is opened from Tuesdays to Sundays and on public holidays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with 20 THB admission fee for Thai and 40 THB for foreigners. Free entrance on public holidays. Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall Bangkok

There are two main reasons a single traveler must visit the great Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall. Firstly, this structure is one of the most beautiful Italian Renaissance architectures outside Italy. The construction of this grand mansion was commissioned by His Majesty King Rama V in 1906 to serve as the reception hall. The building was designed by a team of Italian architects, who covered the exterior with white marble imported from Carrara, Italy, while the interior walls are beautifully painted by Italian artists to depict the history of the Chakri Dynasty. The construction was, unfortunately, not finished until 1915, five years after the reign of King Rama V. Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall was later served as Thailand’s first parliament after the political transition from absolute monarchy to constitutional monarchy and is now used for important state’s functions.

Secondly, Ananta Samakhom currently hosts the fifth edition of “Arts of the Kingdom” exhibition that displays sophisticated art pieces and crafts made of precious materials by the craftsmen of Sirikit Institute, an organization under the royal patronage to help raise living standards in rural areas by encouraging them to learn and create traditional crafts. The masterpieces include a model of royal barges made of gold and a 10 meter tall carved teak panels.
